Heraklion

The largest city and administrative capital of Crete, Heraklion, is a vibrant and modern city full of monuments and sites of a past era. The sea-side resort of Amoudara is a nearly 6km long fine sandy beach that extends west from Heraklion. At night, the area transforms to its most vibrant self decorated by the tunes of music, local and international alike.
